About This Course
More than 1 million sexual transmitted infections (STIs) are acquired every day worldwide. They are often asymptomatic, symptoms may be non-specific, mild or severe. Undiagnosed STIs may lead to serious complications.
On our AHF ehealthacademy e-learning platform we have already provided 4 courses dealing with diagnosis and management of STIs. This new course presents a new series of 3 challenging STI cases. They were developed by Dr. Clemens Richter, AHF CME consultant, in collaboration with Dr. Adele Schwartz Benzaken, AHF Senior Global Medical Director. The course is awarded with 2 AHF CME credit hours, is very practical, highly recommended for all AHF staff dealing with STIs either in HIV clinics or the many new established wellness clinics. For those HCWs who have not yet followed our previous 4 STI courses we recommend to follow those courses as well in order to be well equipped in carrying out state of the art STI management..
